Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo in the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was a young child. In 1997, she received an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. Following their engagement in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk gave birth to a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the final episode of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
