Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer was born in England and is an actor, screenwriter and writer of Hollywood movies. Mortimer was a graduate of the theatre with a rich legacy has a humble persona. Mortimer made her debut in the sequel to 1964's Mary Poppins musical, "Mary Poppins Returns." This was a pivotal part for Mortimer. She was a quirky French assistant for the Pink Panther films along with a determined and ambitious news producer on "The Newsroom". Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer was born on the 1st of December 1971, in Hammersmith, London, to famous writer and barrister Sir John Mortimer and Penelope Gollop. Emily is blessed with several siblings. She has a half-brother Jeremy and one half-sister Sally and a half-sister, Sally. Both are children of her father's marriage earlier to author Penelope Fletcher. Rosie the younger sister is named. Her father was in relationship with actress Wendy Craig, and she is the daughter of Ross Bentley. Mortimer has attended St Paul's Girls' School in London. Following her graduation from Oxford University in 1994 where she was a student of English in Lincoln College and Russian, she then attended Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School to study acting.
